As each day passes, both parties in Congress are escalating our national debt and expanding their control over private industries  in which they have no constitutional role.

Meanwhile they neglect their true obligations vested in them by the Constitution; like border security and fiscal responsibility.

In response, we have gathered at nationwide Tea Parties, where THOUSANDS of us get excited; we vent; we talk and share ideas; to which we now ask the ulimate question:

The excitement and momentum must continue. Today must be our catalyst to ensure that Congress will no longer be able to blatantly disregard our Constitution

by exposing the “Big Lie” of government bailouts.

The “Big Lie” began with Congress insisting they had to approve the government bailouts or the entire national system of over 8.500 financial institutions would collapse.

If this were true, how did only 25 companies manage to get more than 93% of all the bailout money funneled into their coffers?

One reason: Congress voted to give 93% of all bailout money to those 25 companies because the majority of campaign donations that many Congressional incumbents from both parties have ever received can be traced back to those same 25 companies!

Members of congress want you to think they are in there “fighting for you”.  For a great majority of incumbent congress members from both parties, that’s just a Big Lie.  We all seem to know it, but don’t have the facts at our fingertips to prove it.  Now you will!

A joint venture of The Independence Caucus and The912project.us is finalizing the research into exactly how much money from these 25 companies ended up in the campaign coffers of each incumbent member of congress from both parties. We’re going to expose all TEN LEVELS that these 25 companies discretely employ to steer multiple “maximum” donations to the incumbents of their choice.

When this money trail is published the “Big Lie” will be exposed!

President Teddy Roosevelt said: “Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.”  Members of congress voted to hand out billions in government bailouts despite calls and letters in opposition of more than 1,000 to 1, because we were merely “speaking softly” without any sort of “big stick.”

What we really need now is a “Big Stick Tea Party.”

Imagine the impact: on a given day, someone shows up at the local office of each and every one of the 535 members of Congress at exactly 4:30 in the afternoon with at least 1,000 tea bags, each one label with the name of one of their constituents, and the following message: “Please watch the enclosed video, ‘The Big Lie’ which exposes members of congress for what they are – we know how the money game works in Washington. Here’s your notice – you’re fired!”

Now imagine the impact of local and national coverage of ordinary people like you and me delivering that message across the nation to all 535 members of Congress at the exact same time on the exact same day.

This is a Big Stick they can’t ignore!
