FAQ

Q. Who is Independence Caucus

A. Independence Caucus is a group of like-minded individuals all around the United States dedicated to getting bad incumbents out of office and good men and women elected to office at all levels of government.

Q. How Can You Change An Entrenched Political System?

A. All politics is local. Starting at the local level and using proven grass roots activism you build a base of support for good candidates, so that we have better choices at the higher levels.

Q. Do I have to Have a Political Background to Get Involved?

A. No. What you do need is a strong desire for fiscal responsibility from our government and passion and commitment to do your part to bring about change.

Q. Where Do I Begin in Bringing About Change?

A. First join Indepence Caucus (if you haven’t already). Second watch the videos so that you can have a deeper understanding of both the problems and the solutions to our current crisis.  Third invite your family friends and neighbors to watch the videos (and join Independence Caucus). Last, go to the volunteer form and get involved.

Q. Once I Have a Group Organized Will You Provide Coaching to Help Us?

A. Yes, and that coaching will be specific to the roles, within your volunteer organization, that need to be filled in your local area to help you bring about change in getting good men and women elected to office.

Q. Has Independence Caucus Done This Before?

A. Yes. The leaders of the Independence Caucus were heavily involved in leadership roles in the Jason Chaffetz campaign.  Read more about the Jason Chaffetz Miracle…

Q. What is the Goal of Independence Caucus?

A. The utlimate goal is the removal of all compromised incumbents and replacement with good men and women with principles and character at all levels of government.

For 2010 the intermediate goal of Indepence Caucus is to remove 40% of the compromised incumbents from office.  The Indepence Caucus have other goals that mesh with and support the ultimate goal, such as research and presenting factual information regarding campaign finance, and incumbents voting records that indicate where their support truly lies.  (Are they supporting their constituents or are they supporting big money special interests).

Q.  Do You Have a List of the Compromised Incumbents?

A. Yes we do.  We will soon be releasing a video detailing the worst of the compromised incumbents and the connection between them (our elected officials) big money special interests, and the voting records of these politicians.

Q. In Order to Belong to the Indepence Caucus Can I Be Involved With Other Politically Active Groups?

A. Yes! We have a policy of dual citizenship.  We encourage you to be involved with other groups because we believe it gives you a better foundation of knowledge and experience to help accomplish the goals of our organization as well.

Q. Does it Cost Anything to Join Independence Caucus?

A. No, but your money helps to offset and defray the costs of running a burgeoning organization.  What we do ask from our members is that they actively volunteer within our organization to accomplish our ultimate and intermediate goals, and sometimes that volunteering may involve fundraising so that we can survive as an organization.
